Well yesterday we went back to work guys.
Yes, you heard me right, I said we.
Okay, well it might not actually classify as a real job. Marissa started calling it "our job" a couple years ago and I just went with it.
On Tuesday mornings, during the school year we go to my MIL's church and we babysit an awesome group of kiddos while some of the women from her church do a Bible study. One hour, one day a week. Pretty much already sounds like the best job ever, am I right?!
I get to play and hang out with a fun, cute group of kiddos and my kids think of it as an exciting play date. Plus it gives us a little extra money for Christmas presents and the like.
It's a win-win for us.
This year we are doing things a bit different. The kids are pretty young this year and Miss Marissa has A LOT more school work to get done so I am "being mean" and having her bring some school to work on while we are there. Sorry girly.
She was less than impressed with this idea but I managed to get her to crack a smile.
I put the littles to work doing some number/counting puzzle cards.
And of course Marissa's "mommy instincts" could not be contained and she kept wanting to help and cheer them on.
We quickly moved on from the puzzles and went straight to work making a house.

Not exactly a master piece. But I did the best I could and they didn't complain :).
After some goldfish crackers our time together was over.

By far the fastest hour of my week hands down and definitely one of the girls favorites.
Even if it isn't exactly real or important we absolutely love "our job".
