Valentines Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday!

I hope that you had a wonderful Valentines day weekend!
I thought it would be fun to do a quick weekend recap today since we had so much going on this weekend.

Friday we had our annual co-op Valentines Day pizza party. The girls were so excited.

Emily's card box was a gift bag that mommy easily converted. Marissa worked so hard on hers, she even drew up "plans" for it. Such a sweet creative girl. It was fun watching her go crazy.

Sweet sisters waiting for the party to start.

And we even ended up with a picture of all 3 of us!

The next day I had my first ever 25K relay race (more details on that tomorrow).

I came home to find Russ had set up my grow light table while I was gone. I can't believe it is already time to start my garden plants again. I plan to start my pepper plants today.

The weather Saturday was BEAUTIFUL! We spent plenty of time outside.

I made the girls a special Valentine treat. How cute and easy is this?!

After an afternoon of play we cleaned up and headed out for our Valentines date, Chick Fil-a.

We tried to take a picture in the car, sadly it ended up blurry.
We like to keep things classy on Valentines Day.

It was honestly great. We ate with the girls, then enjoyed some time talking while they played away. Maybe it wasn't the most romantic night out but it was perfect for us.

The rest of the weekend was spent grocery shopping, playing board games and watching NASCAR. Yes, we are that family. I absolutely love to watch the races with my husband. I don't expect you to understand.

The girls enjoy the races too :).

Definitely a great weekend with my Valentines.

How was yours?

Ahhh planting season is upon us for sure!!! Would you believe I just pulled up my peppers from last year which were still ALIVE?!? I was going to leave them, but figured I needed the space and wanted to avoid blight.

I love the kids standing in front of the TV mesmerized by NASCAR. Looks like Mason when anything Disney Junior is on LOL
