Five on Friday: Dresses, Crazy Love and More

It's Friday!
Man guys I am totally busting on the Friday dance this morning. I am not sure if it is the usual thrill of the weekend or having and exciting day planned, but I am pumped!

My 5 for this week...

1. We only have 4 more days of school left!!! Aaaaahhhhh!!!! We home school Monday through Thursday and have co-op on Fridays. Today is our last co-op meet up for the school year and on next Thursday we are DONE!
Now I do have a few things planned for summer, she isn't going to escape that easily. But we will definitely not let that cut into any summer fun plans!

2. This dress

It even has an adorable heart cut out in the back, which is hard to tell in this picture. My mom bought it for Marissa on a shopping trip we took earlier in the week at Children's Place. All day little Miss ran around saying "It is so cute, I just had to buy it". Haha, Thank you Mimi.

3. My fitness Pal

I am in the process of getting ready to start a new "nutrition plan". No, that is not a fancy word for diet. I am referring to the technical side of eating a particular balance of carbs, fats and protein. But, I will not bore you with that. I started using My Fitness Pal and it has been VERY eye opening to see my eating habits in black and white and to log what I actually eat. As a grazer that mindlessly eats throughout the day this has been a very enlightening week.

4. Crazy Love

This is my absolute favorite book ever (besides the Bible). This week I started reading it again with some lovely ladies that I do a weekly Bible Study/accountability group with.

If you haven't read it before, you should!

5. Sewing. I said I was going to sew and I did!

Check it out, I totally made this.

My wonderful mother was sweet enough to guide me along a few rough spots but it is totally a wearable dress that doesn't look to bad!
I do think here in a few more months I may be embarrassed when I look over my "rookie work". But, all in all this look like the start of a beautiful relationship between a sewing machine and myself!

Do you have any exciting weekend plans?

    1. Yeah it is great and TERRIBLE simultaneously. The one down fall is dinner. It is pretty hard to track stuff when you don't use very many boxes. You can enter recipes but it is work. Glad I have a couple weeks to get this figured out.

Thanks the blue heart one is ridiculous. I loved it on the hanger and it is so, so cute on her. I Love summer time and sweet dresses for little girls.
