Fathers Day 2014

What a great BUSY weekend. Birthday Party, Race and Fathers Day. It may take me a few days to get through all of this.

Let's talk about Fathers Day first.

Russell, on his first day as a father. Which just so happened to be only two days after his first Fathers Day. So crazy that 6 years have passed since then.

Yesterday morning we decided to spoil our hard working man. It started with me making an early morning Starbucks run (in my pj's) to get him a coffee.

I then came home and interviewed the girls.

Bunny? Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe she was thinking funny.

Oh how their answers made us laugh.

Up next was breakfast in bed, we pulled out the works for Fathers Day morning. Biscuits, bacon and fried eggs (with jalapeno ketchup). Confession: I have owned this tray for  going on 2 years now and this is the first time I have used it.

I snapped a few (dozen) pics of him with the girls before church. Don't worry I will only post two.

And finally we surprised him with a picture (that I worked very hard to take). Of course I got the idea from Pinterest. Taking a fun picture for dad has kind of became a tradition. It is now framed and taking its place on his night stand.

So, so happy that my girls have an amazing dad, two amazing papas, and two great grandpas to. We are some very lucky ladies to have such great men taking care of us.

It was a great Fathers Day.

    1. I have to give Pinterest all of the credit for both ideas sadly, lol. And I totally hear you on the remembering part.
