Friday Favorites 11.7.14

I almost feel like I have lost an entire week, or maybe an entire month really. At the beginning of the week I was shaking my head that Halloween was over and it was November. Now I am looking at the date realizing a week has already flown by. I know I have been a bit of a zombie this week. We had a BUSY weekend and this has been a re-coop/ transitional week for me. But if things don't slow down it feels like Christmas will be over before I know it.

Anyone else?!

With that said let's move onto this weeks Friday Five!

{ONE} Halloween 2014

Halloween was a blast this year. We had a fun filled day including leaf jumping, pizza and trick or treating leaving our candy stash well stocked for MONTHS.

This years costumes were Minnie Mouse, AGAIN!

And my beautiful butterfly.

{TWO} Christmas Link Up!

Wednesday I dished the details on a Christmas countdown link-up that I am co-hosting. This is my first time to co-host a link up and I couldn't be more excited

Get the details and mark your calendars to join us starting November 26th!

{THREE} I Can Relate.

Courtney from A Plus Life has my sense of humor down to a T. She often sends me "funnies" on Pinterest that leave me in pain from laughing.

Like a photo of a giraffe asking if it is too tall to wear heels.
Stand on something and tell me to my face!

Tall girl humor at it's best right there. I don't often rock a pair of heels but when I do I am proud of how tall they make me. I once had a lady make a snarky comment to me while I was trying on some heels. Next time I will remember this advice and reply, HA!

{FOUR} Half Marathon #2

Sunday I ran the Bass Pro Cohick 13.1 and it was awesome! You can check out yesterdays race re-cap if you want to get the details.

This half felt a bit harder than the last one for some reason. But it was just as rewarding when I finished.

This week also marked my one year anniversary of being in half marathon training which totaled out to 630 miles ran in one year. I am so excited to just run for fun for the next 3 months before attempting half marathon #3 & #4.

{FIVE} Christmas Pallet Sign

Several weeks ago I did a tutorial on making a pallet sign and made up a fall sign for our gallery wall. Sadly fall is just about over and I am starting to make plans for Christmas sign. Here are a few choices that have caught my eye.

Oh Come Let Us Adore Him

Which one would you pick?

    1. It seems to be a winner among my friends. I will probably go that route and then paint one of the others and hang it up somewhere else! You can never have to many Christmas decorations!

      Thank you!
