So, you know you're a Girl Mom when:
You have a
love/hate relationship with glitter- it's so sparkly! and pretty! but it's so
dang hard to get cleaned up. (And I may
have a fear about it getting in my eye and scratching my cornea, no joke this
can actually happen!)
The only Band-Aids in your house consist of Disney Princesses, Dora the Explorer or Hello Kitty.
Closet space
is at a premium.
You have
lengthy and in depth conversations with your daughter about what she's going to
wear and what she thinks her friends will be wearing to a play date.
You know the
lyrics to ALL Disney songs ever recorded.
But to be honest, I knew them before I had daughters ;)
You find
treasures at the bottom of all your bags and purses.
Matching
outfits is a great possibility.
Also #StellaBomb
You could
become a professional manicurist with all the nail polish applications you do. On that same token, you could also be a pro photographer!
You have
such a profound feeling of love and gratitude as you teach your daughters how to
pray, because you've been praying for them all their lives.

ReplyDeleteforeign to me! I’m surrounded by boys and boy things. And sometimes I crave a
little ‘girl-time’. It’s so funny about the Disney songs. Yesterday we were at
our favorite little snowcone shack and a song from Frozen came on and my little
guy and another little guy that was around the same age as Mason both rolled
their eyes and said ughhhhhhhhh at the same time. It was hilarious! When he was
in preschool all of the girls in his class were obsessed with Frozen {like every
other girl in America} and I think he got burned out! Great post. And maybe one
day I will have a little girl that I can dress like.
