Project Sunday {June}

The year is more than halfway over and so is my 2015 photo project. I set a goal to take a picture of my girls every Sunday. Has it been challenging? Of course it has! But some how I am still at it and my only regret is that I didn't start taking weekly photos sooner.

Let's take a look back at the first five months.

Now onto our June photos.

I just love summer, especially as a girl mom. Sandals and sundresses are simply the best. The vibrant summer colors are pretty fantastic too.

Marissa's dress was a birthday present and it quickly became a new favorite. It is the perfect combination of Elsa meets Cinderella with sparkles. What little girl doesn't love to sparkle?

Fathers Day weekend. Why I didn't think to throw dad into this weeks photos is beyond me. We had just got home from vacation late the night before so we stayed home from church and spoiled Dad.

Emily was positive that she was Minnie Mouse this week. She even rocked some Minnie Mouse earrings. That girls obsession is still going strong for 3 years now. I never imagined a "phase" lasting this long. The girls also wore some bracelets that Marissa made them. She is quite the crafter.

Yup, this photo project might have been the best idea ever.
After all what mom say "I wish I didn't take that picture."
I'll give you a hint I am pretty sure it must be NONE :).

Happy Monday friends!

Loving all the fun summer colors, combos, and dresses!! These photos are just the best. The girls are going to adore looking back on these when they are a little older. And, oh my gosh, think of the great displays you'll be able to create for graduations!!
I'm a little sad Marcus has currently moved out of the Mickey "phase." I was hoping we could hang on to that obsession for a least another 10 years or so. :/

  4. I love that you've been able to do this for every week this year. It'll be really cool to see how they've changed, by the time December comes. :)

  5. Best photo project EVER! I may have to start doing this next year. I had some foresight and did monthly sister pictures but, as you said, you can never have too many pictures!

  6. You're so right! I can't ever remember a time I've reverted taking pictures. However, there have been plenty of times I've regretted NOT snapping any pictures.
You're girls are so gorgeous & you're doing a fabulous job of documenting them! :)

  13. I am pretty sure it is impossible. Especially when they are photos of your kids. You totally hit the nail on the head that time there are SO many times I wish I had taken so many more photos. Not anymore.
    Thanks Amanda :).

  14. Oh my goodness lady let's not think about graduation, lololol. I do hope they love looking back at all of this someday. The photos, the blog, it's our modern day baby book!

Oh no!!! Marcus had some pretty awesome Mickey clothes and such too. I wonder if Emily will still be obsessed in a couple more years?! The amount of Minnie stuff she has is CRAZY! I don't know what we will do when she moves on.

  16. I know as a Mom you shouldn't have favorites but let me say... that Emily! She is just so damn cute. I could just eat her up. Those curls!

  18. Okay I know I shouldn’t either and I don’t favor one over the other but… I KNOW! She is so freaking cute. And she is pretty much the sweetest little girl ever who proclaims her love for me 100 times a day and showers me with hugs and kisses all day long. Her personality and those curls make her pretty irresistible. Heaven help me.

  19. Oh my goodness your girls are cute! If I tried to do this to my kiddos, I do not believe it would go well for us. They do not enjoy taking pictures. The toddler is the worst and prefers nudity to clothes most of the time. Since she is 2 we allow it, for now :)
