7 Years Of Wedded Bliss!

Today is anniversary #7 for the Mr. and I.

7 years
2 AMAZING kids
4 houses
12 cars
1 tornado
And a whole lot of happy memories.

We were married on August 18th, 2007 in a popular tourist town, Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It was close, beautiful, a fun get-a-way and perfect for an elopement style wedding.

The wedding took place at Harding Spring. We went down the day before the wedding with no clue where we were going to hold the ceremony. After some walking around and looking we instantly fell in love with this spot.

As one big group we all walked down to the spring for the ceremony. Definitely a casual wedding.

Our guests gathered at the bottom of the spring and we went up top to exchange our vows.

Just like that, I became a Mrs.

After the ceremony we snapped a few pictures.

Us on the balcony of our hotel room.

Then we headed to a nearby restaurant for food and cupcakes.

Just for the record... Yes, I am a "control enthusiast" (sounds much nicer than control freak) and No, I DID NOT trust him.

Selfies before selfies were selfies.

There you have it guys. Our super simple celebration that started us on the road to where we are now. If I had to do it again, would I do it the same way?

You bet I would! Only I may make the location a bit further away and more "beachy".

So blessed to be celebrating anniversary number 7 together.

  3. Happy Anniversary!!!! Funny how much you look like babies when you don't look that much different. Little things I suppose. What a beautiful spot! I love how casual it was! And, 12 cars?
