Christmas Past

One of my favorite parts about the holiday season are the memories made.

I love thinking back on previous years and reliving them through pictures.
I thought it would be fun to share with you some highlights over the past several years of Christmas'

Let's start at the beginning

This was our first married Christmas and the year we announced our family was growing. We used this picture for our Christmas card announcing the news.

Our second Christmas was her first, things were definitely more exciting.

This was the year we really started forming our traditions, we had a blast.

This Christmas we were expecting an addition to the family in February.

2011 brought a lot of changes. It was our first Christmas as a family of four and Emily took her first steps on Christmas eve.

Our first Christmas in our new house and it was a great one.

With the girls being a bit older this was one of the best years yet.

Looking back at these picture I think two things.

1. Wow, we looked so young 7 years ago.
2. It is undeniable that God has abundantly blessed us.

So,excited for the new memories that 2014 has and will continue to bring.

  3. Love this!!!!! It's so fun when sweet memories correlate to holidays. We've had some pretty memorable Christmases too! Engaged, married, found out we were pregnant, lily's first, first in new exciting!! I didn't think about that until your recap! :)

  4. Love this stroll down memory lane!

  5. I looooove this post. What a great idea! I love that you have pics too, I barely have any from pre-Aria days.

  6. What a beautiful post. You have a wonderful family... it may need a little boy though to be "perfect" ;)

  7. It's so exciting to see what each new year brings us! In just one year we went from having one baby to two babies!

  8. Such a great post! How fun to look back and see all the memorable events that took place that year. Precious!!!

  9. This is such a great way to look at the changes, the traditions, the memories. I love it!!
While I think the girls certainly look alike, holy moly, they looked SO MUCH alike when they were younger!

  10. This just warms my heart! Such a great walk down memory lane - I might steal this for next year. You are so right that each year as they get older it gets more fun. I LOVE Marissa in that silver dress and then to see Emily in it a few years later - so sweet! The pic of the two of them in silver on the front porch is my favorite! Yay for lots of memory making for the holidays. It's so fun to make your own family traditions. :)

  11. Your girls are so gorgeous! Love seeing a recap of Christmas's past!

  12. What a fun post! Crazy how much can change in a few short years, isn't it? And somebody does not look that happy to see Santa in the last two pics :(
