Holiday Home Tour 2014 Link-Up

One of my favorite parts of the Holiday season is the decorating. Putting up the Christmas decorations is something that we start looking forward to around the first day of October. (Don't worry, we wait a few more weeks before we actually start.)

There is just something so magical that Christmas decorations add to a home. So many wonderful memories are remembered when looking at the ornaments, the stockings and my mom's nativity that I always loved as a child. I love having people in our home this time of the year and visiting other homes as well. I enjoy looking around and seeing the way others decorate and what is special to them. Everyone's likes and traditions are different. And if I am being completely honest I am always on the lookout for a good idea I can steal.

It turns out I am not the only one! Myself, Jenny from The Chronicles Of We and Courtney from Sweet Turtle Soup are hosting a Holiday Home Tour link up! It's really as simple as it sounds. Take some (or a lot!) pictures of your home decorated for the holiday season, write a blog post and link up with us! The link up opens next Thursday, December 11 and will stay open through December 17.

So finish up any projects or decorating, take some pictures, grab our button and be ready to share your holiday home with us next week.

Our Pretty Little Girls

We hope you'll plan to join us!

  2. So much fun! Just in time for us to get our decor up and really get in the holiday spirit. I've been sad I haven't been able to participate in the countdown to Christmas posts yet either. Traveling for thanksgiving week really through everything off. I'd get in the attic myself but ya know... Can't wait to participate and really get in the spirit! We might leave our decor up for an extra month just because. Ha!

  3. So fun! You are the link up queen this December! ;) We set up our tree last weekend and while Seth is working this weekend (good thing I convinced him to get it all out for me last weekend!), I just might set up the rest of our holiday decor! Have to get a little creative so little hands don't destroy all my hard work, but I think I can handle it :)
