Thanksgiving Weekend Recap 2014

First off let me start by saying I have been dreading the arrival of this Monday morning since I realized it was quickly approaching on Saturday.

Mondays always feel extra "Monday like" when you have had a whole week out of you normal routine

(Any Office fans out there?)

After 15 weeks of school we finally took the week off from our regular routine and it was perfect.

We watched way to many movies on Netflix. Often by the light of a Christmas tree.

I knit A LOT.

A sweater that was about halfway done is now just a couple hours away from being finished. I may actually get to wear it this year after all.

We He worked on the project car.

Pictured below is a particularly TERRIFYING moment. I don't meet many people as stubborn or creative as my husband.

Sometimes I would even knit in the garage while he worked on the car. #coupletime

Our elf Bob arrived and has already made himself at home.

I took a picture of the cousins for my parents Christmas card.

My mom didn't use this one... I wonder why?

We had a big family worship service/potluck at church.

And I redesigned the blog yesterday. I still have more changes that I'd like to make but I am happy I finally made some progress!

It was definitely a great week.

Come to think of it I really shouldn't be complaining at all. The hubby only has a 3 day work week again and we have another exciting weekend planned.

Happy Monday after all!

How was your Thanksgiving weekend?

  1. Love your new look! Also Bob is so funny! My Mother In Law just got Hallie one and I can't wait for her (ours is a girl, she has a tutu!) to start doing some funny stuff around here as Hallie gets bigger!

Our weekend was awesome, and I hated to usher Monday in. Why can't life be a perpetual weekend??

  6. Happy Monday after all! #coupletime ha, love it. Is he lifting up half the frame with his back? Way too many movies is totally how I like to spend holidays. I love the balloon landing of the elf! So, if the elf is suppose to let Santa know if the kids have been naughty or nice..why is he naughty sometimes? Clearly I should read that book he comes with. I just thought it played tricks and made messes.
