Cow Appreciation Day 2014

Cow Appreciation Day was Friday July 11th and the Newmans decided to celebrate for the first time ever. Of course it giving us an excuse to spend some time with friends AND eat some free Chick Fil-A did give us a little motivation.

I spent most of Friday morning putting together our "costumes" I went to the store and spent about $1.20 on 6 pieces of felt and we had everything we needed.

Everyone had ears, a tail and some kind of shirt or sign to wear.

Now for an absurd amount of cow costume pictures.

MOO!!!!!

Seriously?! How stinking cute is this.

And this, MOO!

 Me with my calves

And the family picture. What a guy! He was a total trooper, cow ears on his baseball hat, sign around his neck and he even wore a tail. Super awesome daddy points for sure!

We met up with our friends and enjoyed a great dinner, even with it being a bit crowded.

And the best part is this!

I think Cow Appreciation Day may just be my favorite new holidays.

Did you celebrate at Chick Fil-a?
